Garden Inspiration... During...
To this.... in one day, on Saturday October 16th, 2010. A wonderful group of approximately 35 hardworking students, parents, staff and community neighbours worked all day cleaning out the existing (weed) beds, turning in 8 yards of deliciously aromatic mushroom compost and planting 200 daffodils which were generously donated to us.
Stay tuned for the after shots. Spring planting will take place in early May. If you are interested or able to assist us in any way, please send an e-mail to [email protected] and we'll add you to our contact list.

Garden Inspiration... After... Part #1
Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday May 14th to help plant the garden. The weather held off and we were all finished before the rain came.
Photos will be posted ASAP...
We will need to put down some more mulch before the summer holidays. Stay tuned for timing and the call for volunteers to assist with the job.

Garden Inspiration... After... Part #2
Mulching day has arrived. Thursday June 2nd after school. Meet on the front lawn by 3:30 pm. Wear clothing that you don't mind getting grubby... and good shoes. Pizza and community service hours.
Great job everyone. It might even be a record... 4 yards of mulching done in just over an hour. Not to mention the pizza inhaled in far less time than that.
The garden looks great. See you again in the fall for weeding and maintenance, and again next spring for another load of mulch (I expect).

Garden Clean-Up and Mulching... A Garden Party
Saturday October 15th, 2011 from 10am - 2pm
Come one, come all. We have some weeding, edging and mulching to do to get the garden ready for winter.
We will start work at 10am - rain or shine! We should be done in a couple of hours, and then we will have an informal garden party... with treats and goodies galore.
Please bring some basic garden tools - if you have them. Spades, forks, small hand tools. Wheelbarrows are always welcome! We do have a small selection of garden gloves to share... first come, first served.
This will also be the official garden dedication. Hopefully our funding partners will be able to join us so that we may recognise, and thank them, for their generous financial assistance.
